If you are a performing artist experiencing pain or other symptoms that interfere with your art, this physiotherapy assessment is for you. This session may include testing for:

  • range of motion

  • flexibility

  • balance

  • strength

  • breathing pattern

  • functional movement analysis.

We will discuss the findings and create a treatment plan to help get you back to doing what you love.

Performing Arts Follow-up 

For dancers, instrumental musicians and vocalists

Once you've completed an initial assessment, you can book follow-up appointments for ongoing treatment progression and re-assessment. Treatment sessions may include:

  • manual therapy

  • exercise therapy

  • breathing techniques

  • IMS Dry Needling

  • therapeutic taping

  • education

Pre-Pointe Assessment

For dancers preparing for en pointe ballet

A pre-pointe ballet assessment is an essential evaluation designed to determine a dancer's readiness to begin training on pointe shoes. During this assessment, we will examine the dancer's:

  • strength

  • flexibility

  • balance

  • overall technique

This assessment includes a report and recommendations for specific exercises to help prepare the dancer for successful pointe work.
